Enneagram Counseling & Workshops

Enneagram Counseling—for personal spiritual growth and relational understanding.  The Enneagram is a wonderful tool for couples anticipating marriage or living together.

Enneagram Workshops—these workshops introduce the Enneagram to beginners as a personal spiritual growth tool related to your personality type.  It is also an excellent tool for relational understanding and compassion.

Spiritual Services for Individuals

These rituals are created to express your desire for the Divine presence as you understand it in life-changing moments.

Choose traditional and non-traditional element from various spiritual traditions in conversation with Susan

 

Weddings—for interfaith, LGBTQ+ as well as hetero couples.

Renewal of Wedding Vows—to celebrate significant anniversaries or reconciliations.

Divorce Parting Ritual—to divorce well.  Especially created to comfort children of divorce.      

House Blessings— to warm your home with a divine blessing.  Ritual may include a spiritual cleansing.     

Baby & Parent Blessings—a celebration of the joys and responsibilities of families. Including baptisms, if desired. 

$15/half hour after free consultation and $150 for event (no one will be turned away for inability to pay) 

Spiritual Services for Faith Communities

These services are suitable for churches without permanent pastors and other Faith Fellowship groups.

Christingle—celebrated the Sunday after Christmas focused on Christ the Light of the World.  This is a very family/kid friendly worship service of Christmas music from around the world, scripture & prayer during which each person makes a Christingle out of an orange.

Jesus’ Last Supper Passover Meal—full dinner celebrating Jesus’ last Passover and the institution of the Lord’s Supper.  A Good Friday Tenebrae service may be added to continue the story from the Table to the Tomb.

Holy Humor Sunday Worship—celebrated the Sunday after Easter to laugh at death’s defeat.  A rather slapstick approach to celebrating resurrection.

The Blessing Animals—Remembering the compassion for all God’s creatures of St. Francis of Assisi, people are invited to bring animals of all kinds for a brief blessing, recognizing our common and interdependent life on the earth.

Parable Impro Worship—attendees participate by playing out Jesus’ parables with a contemporary twist.  No acting experience required, just a playful spirit.

Wild Wonderings—a family-friendly outdoor service focused on meeting the divine in nature and considering our place and responsibility in the web of life God created.

Labyrinth Walks—a worship service created for special occasions in a faith community’s faith journey.  These can be held at an established labyrinth or one created in your church space.

Abraham’s Table—an interfaith understanding event featuring a panel of representatives from the 3 Abrahamic religions talking about how each community practices prayer, fasting, Bible/Koran stories, etc.  The aim of Abraham’s Table is not only to learn about commonalities and differences in our religious practices but fostering personal friendships across religious difference.  This event can be modified to include non-Abrahamic religions as well, under another suitable title.                              

Hand Choreography Workshop—create congregational movement to familiar prayers, songs and creeds.  This is a workshop for worship committees and leaders, including pastors, to introduce liturgical movement in congregational worship.    

 These services are offered at $75/hour plus mileage and special materials.

Specific special materials & volunteer needs will be determined according to requested event.

Spiritual Services for Faith Communities

The Hanging of the Greens— A brief liturgy focusing on the meaning of evergreen trees as the endurance of life in a dark and cold season.

"The House of Bread"— a Christmas Eve service based on the place name Bethlehem which means “house of bread” celebrating the Incarnation of the Creator in Jesus the Christ.

"The Great Blessing of Water” –gathering for worship at a local body of water to give thanks for the Creator's gift of water in association with Epiphany (January 6th)

"Candlemas: The Blessing of Lights"—gathering at the beginning of Celtic spring (Imbolc) to give thanks for and bless the lights (candles and electric bulbs) that have illuminated our life over the winter, and to turn in expectation of new light as the days lengthen on earth. (traditionally February 2)

All Saints—gathering at the beginning of Celtic winter (Samhain) to commemorate our indelible bonds with those who have gone before us... and those who will come after.
