Rev. Susan Rack M.Div., Th.M.

Susan Joseph Rack:  Susan was raised in a progressive Lutheran Church, became a Presbyterian as an adult but sojourned in the Jewish community with her young family.  She graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology in Old Testament.  She served as a pastor and Christian Educator in a Delaware before serving 17 years in a small Emerging Church in New Jersey, where her creativity, commitment to out-of-the-box worship and social activism flourished.  Susan resumed her interfaith friendship work there with the AlFalah Muslim Center community, inviting them to share the church’s worship space for their Ramadan gatherings and creating interfaith worship and peace events for people of the Abrahamic traditions after 911.  Susan is committed to the full inclusion and celebration of the LGBTQAI+ community and eco-friendly Celtic spirituality.  She is currently collaborating to found a Wild Church in the Trumansburg area.

She and her Reverend husband, Paul, attend the Wild Goose Festival (www.WildGooseFestival.org ) every year since it began in 2011.  This festival keeps them abreast of the trends of the future church and emerging spiritualities.

Susan is trained in the Enneagram (www.EnneagramInstitute.org ) and is authorized to teach by the Enneagram Institute.  She finds this an invaluable tool for personal spiritual growth.

Rev. Paul Rack M.Div.

Paul F. Rack:  Paul was raised in the Presbyterian Church.  He received his Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary.  He served churches in New York, Boston, and New Jersey.  Conscious of the limitations of traditional Western theology, he has found exciting and even ancient alternatives in Celtic and Eastern approaches, and is keen to integrate them into 21st century American Christianity.  He has also found resonances with Indigenous, Buddhist, and Sufi spiritualities.  He centers his meditation practice on the simple recitation of the Name of Jesus, called the Jesus Prayer.  He is also trained in the Enneagram as a tool of self-understanding and spiritual growth, and annually attends the Wild Goose Festival to connect with other outside-the-box Christians.  Paul's approach is to tap into the often neglected deeper roots of the Christian spiritual tradition to recover new, creative directions for us today.  He writes on Substack under the name "Imaginal."

Paul is trained in the Enneagram (www.EnneagramInstitute.org ) by the Enneagram Institute.
